DO OR DO NOT. WHERE IS MY TRY?

My rubber chicken is in a basket on top of a tall armoire. I look up at it sometimes when I go in that room.

That room is supposed to be my office, the place that I get business done. I only enter it when I am throwing clothes at the treadmill I can no longer reach.

Has the dream died?

No.

The dream is on a shelf collecting dust like a good book waiting to be picked up.

Amber Garibay will make ten million dollars with a rubber chicken but first she must slay her dragons.

I ask myself if I truly believe its possible to make ten million dollars with a rubber chicken.

I am 100% certain that it is.

Why haven’t I succeeded yet?

The answer to that question is both easy and complicated. I haven’t succeeded yet because I haven’t fully committed to making it happen. I haven’t been using my chicken the way I should. I have a genie in the bottle but I never bother to rub the lamp.

My rubber chicken isn’t magical. It has always been, in my opinion, a ridiculous and useless creation. Why would anyone need or want a rubber chicken? What purpose do they serve?

If you have a rubber chicken and you think you can make ten million dollars with it— I encourage you to try.

Try harder than I have and with a little luck you might succeed.
